April's payday treats...

Hey everyone,

I have had the busiest week attempting to finish my dissertation ready to hand in next week. However, this week has been a great week for uni students and those working, its payday/ loan day week!! This means the first payday treat post. This post will be all about the albums and films that I really think you should treat yourself with this payday.

1. The Hobbit: The Battle of Five Armies.

I saw this film in the cinema around Christmas time and I loved it. It perfectly ended The Hobbit trilogy and ended with the best start for The Lord of the Rings trilogy. If you haven't seen any of The Hobbit films, I suggest you go pick up all three and have a marathon. They are all incredible in their own ways. This one features many battles scenes, even one with Christopher Lee (I'm surprised he didn't put out his hip, bless him), for the boys, but towards the end there is a little gushy, romance for us girls to enjoy making it one for everyone. (£.9.99 on Amazon)

2. James Bay - Chaos and the Calm.

I have not stopped listening to this album since the day it was released. I love James Bay, his voice is stunning and I have not met a person that does not like him. I am so excited to be going to his October tour and I cannot wait to hear the album live. I few of my favourite songs off the album are: If You Ever Want To Be In Love, Scars and Let It Go. (£12.00 from Amazon)

3. Kendrick Lamar - To Pimp a Butterfly
(Image from Pinterest)
Kendrick Lamar isn't my usual go to artist for me but I heard such good reviews I thought I would check it out. Again like James Bay, I haven't stopped listening to it. It is probably my favourite hip-hop album since Magna Carter - Jay-Z. Favourites off the album are: King Kunta, u, and i. (£9.99 on Amazon)

There is just a few treats for this month, have you splurged on any albums or DVD's recently that you feel were amazing and totally worth it? Let me know on Instagram or Twitter.

See you Wednesday for a look into what May has to offer,

Love Katie x
